Ascent Trip Report

Climbed Mt Washington as part of a hut to hut hiking trip in the Presidents Range. Summited Mt Washington from the Lake of the Clouds hut. Did so with Gwen, Quintin, Aspen, and Carson (5 years old). Gwen and Carson met us at Lakes of the Clouds hut (not having done the 7 mile Highland Center Lodge to Lakes of the Clouds hut).

Ascent day was a chilly day and the clouds rolled in quickly as we were climbing. Very quickly. We knew this was likely. Visibility was about 5 feet, maybe less. The day before it was clear, so we had the beautiful views one day and the crazy Mt Washington weather the next.
