Ascent Trip Report

Fun little hike past the ruin of the mansion that was owned by the guy that got rich by creating Karo syrup. He named his mansion Orak (Karo backwards). I took the trail up and the road down. The top had a large modern communications tower, but you want to go past that to the old fire tower. It is open up to the top, but the cabin is locked. Great views to New York from the tower.
