Ascent Trip ReportPulled onto the Dirt Road (actually marked that on Google Maps) east off Rt. 125. With good clearance or a ATV you could probably make this a drive up. I drove about 200 yards up the dirt road, then pulled off and parked near several pickup trucks that were parked to go ATV'ing. There were probably 4 or 5 trucks here, and I heard the ATVs but never saw them. There are all sorts of roads back here, so bring a map or GPS. Stick to the main road or trail as this was a pit mine, and there are fresh sinkholes where the mine underneath has collapsed. I had my GPS so when I got close to the knob, I bushwhacked up between two mine ditches and gained the ridge to the fire tower.
