Ascent Trip ReportMoore county has two points above 1,260 feet about 1.3 miles apart on Chestnut Ridge in the northwest part of the county
The southern point is an awe-inspiring chicken farm about a tenth of a mile off of US-231 (Shelbyville Hwy) on Bartlett Hallow Road
The northern point is on Marr Hollow Road in a fenced front yard about a mile up the road.
The high points are located on US-321 between Shelbyville and Fayetteville. Of more interest perhaps is that Moore county is the home of Jack Daniels whiskey and Lynchburg is 13 miles tot eh east along TN-129.
