Ascent Trip Report

Moore county has two points above 1,260 feet about 1.3 miles apart on Chestnut Ridge in the northwest part of the county

The southern point is an awe-inspiring chicken farm about a tenth of a mile off of US-231 (Shelbyville Hwy) on Bartlett Hallow Road
The northern point is on Marr Hollow Road in a fenced front yard about a mile up the road.

The high points are located on US-321 between Shelbyville and Fayetteville. Of more interest perhaps is that Moore county is the home of Jack Daniels whiskey and Lynchburg is 13 miles tot eh east along TN-129.
