Ascent Trip Report

The nice thing about doing county HPs in the Virginia area, is the highground seems to often have a history. Although a subdivion now, the hill was named after a revolutionary war era individual and the hill held some significance as the high ground for the Confederate Army in the civil war. But other than that only a little bit of vertical from the car (I avoid drive ups if at all possible tby walking, roadhiking if necessary to get any conceivable amount of excercise)
