Ascent Trip Report

We left the parking lot before 8 am and were dressed in different gear this time. The snow shoes proved a great option on the way up after a few inches of snow down below and 6 to 12 inches of fresh powder and drifts up top. Turns ut our tab was followed by several people today and the return trip was completed in crampons by the entire group. We debladeed at the shelter and walked out in microspikes. The deep snow on top was very fluffy early the trail was easy to follow to the shelter. We made the water crossing easy and bushwhacked following the ridge after we made the oft referred to left turn after we stopped hiking towards the wrong mountain.
