Very little snow to summit, used no snowshoes or poles. Turnoff Fordyce road at ducked jeep trail approximately 1.75 miles from locked gate entrance to Fordyce. Follow jeep trails to summit.

North summit is a quick 0.32 mile walk along the ridge from main summit repeaters. This summit is about 6 feet lower (7,835) is much nicer and affords very nice views into the canyon behind it, the basin to the east, Basin and Castle peaks to the ESE, and back toward the main summit and all of the East Tahoe peaks, beginning with Devils and Snow across the highway.
