Ascent Trip ReportParked at the end of Mountain Drive in New Durham. Right next to the old chairlift. Wish I had known the lights were left on in the car...
Really nice out, bushwacked up to the east summit, over to the true summit then did the best we could to find the "High Point" on the county line. We did find some orange markers that seemed to represent the line, and at one section there was a double orange mark. This was our best guess of the high point. Good enough for my brother and I.
Some sections were really icy, I wore snowshoes and my brother wore some crampons I had. Both worked well as far as I could tell.
