Ascent Trip ReportSaw this on the map and saw that there was a trail to get us 95% there so we thought we'd give it a whirl.
We came at it from the Charlie Buck trail, which is at the end of road 940 off of Beaver Creek Road. We followed the trail until it merged and junctioned with two others; at that point we just headed up slope for about 10 minutes or so on mostly open country (it is called Baldy after all) to the summit, where someone had placed a cairn.
The trail is really steep; definitely a work out. Not well maintained, but usable.
