Ascent Trip Report

We started just off Burnside Lake Road at a locked gate, walked the road as it looped around the peak to the north, we weren't sure the best way up, so we just followed the road until it looked like it wasn't going to get us any closer, then walked up a class 2 snowy pitch where luckily the snow was soft enough to kick in steps, hard enough to support us, yet not very deep. From the top we decided that it would be shorter and easier to just walk down the straighter line to the southwest, turned out to be a good call and saved us a bunch of time and distance.
