Ascent Trip Report

Every year Rick's friends get to run the ski hut for the weekend and invite their friends. I was invited along this year. After we dropped our overnight gear in the hut, Rick, Nathan, and I continued up to the summit. The trail was packed down by boots all the way to the summit, so there was no need for snowshoes, skis, or anything else. Additionally, the snow cover was pretty sparse, so skiing would not be an option. It was a bit windy on the top, but pretty good weather for 10,000 feet in December.

Summary Total Data

Route:Via Manker Flat & Ski Hut
    Trailhead:6200 ft / 1889 m
