Ascent Trip ReportHad some trouble actually finding the correct to the way to the high point. When travelling down the route, one will see a state posted sign stating "MD High point" with an arrow. Pull over soon after this sign and you will note a dirt logging road with a low hanging chain. This is where you begin. Further up the trail you will see a red sign with white lettering indicating which direction the high point is in.
The actual trail was short and had mild ascent. It was a clear, cool day and it was near sunset when we made our ascent. The view was great and the trail well-marked and well maintained. The trail itself is rather unremarkable and the hike fairly mild, however, you are rewarded with a good view.
