Ascent Trip ReportAfter visiting Royalston Falls, we continued on to the next of the waterfall trifecta, Spirit Falls. We started our hike at the conservation area parking lot. We decided to visit the top of the hill after seeing the viewpoint marked on the trail map. The ledge does have a nice view over long pond. We could also see Mt. Grace. The hike along the spine of the ridge is cool, as you can see the terrain plummet straight down to the lake. The waterfall itself was a bit disappointing, as it was totally frozen over, but the ice formations were interesting. |
