Ascent Trip ReportThe first hike of the day. With the heavy cloud cover and a low tide, we decided to go to Bar Island. We walked across the causeway and up onto Bar Island. We tagged the high point and found a view. It was a neat view looking across the bay at Bar Harbor and seeing the mountains behind them. We then hiked back across the causeway and to the car. We then headed off to the main hike of the day. |
