Ascent Trip ReportTook gully to starfish cove, then followed ridge to summit. Came down a different ridge. Nothing over class 2. Most of the eastern ridges should go and would take less time than going up to starfish first. Register was placed in 1980. This summit gets an average of 2 parties per year. Wonderful views. Found 4 elephant trees, 2 on the loop trail, 2 on the approach.
