Ascent Trip Report

There are a few reports on this one via the South Ridge. I saw a logging road that could get to 700m elevation compared to the 350m elevation for the South Ridge so I decided to give it a shot with Askahn. We drove 31km up the Chehalis which was a cruise for 11km, and then from 11km to 20km it was so so condition, and then from 20km to 31km it was slow going due to potholes. We took the Stonerabbit spur and drove it for another 6km, it's pretty rough so you will want High Clearance. The spur road was fine and we got to 700m with the last section being very steep and loose. We then just bashed up the forest and hit the West ridge. The bluffs we encountered were easily figured out and everything went well. 3km one way and 900m meant short and steep.
