Ascent Trip ReportA pleasant afternoon hike after work on a Wednesday. I started from the western end of the group campground and headed across 2 large gullies as I made my way northwest to the low point just west of the summit of Mt Mel. I made my way over the boulders to the summit block and found a perfect seat to relax and thumb through the summit register. I had a snack and made my way back to the campground. An easy peak, right near my house, doesn't get better than that!
