Ascent Trip ReportGo figure, I have been meaning to ride my mountain bike up Copper Mountain since I moved here, which I finally do, and it turns out the western summit is higher by 2 feet when I get home to add the ascent to peakbagger. I of course went up the eastern point which looked clearly higher in my opinion and naturally I was wrong. Damn it. Looks like I will have to ride up this one again. At 7.1 miles from my driveway to the summit, this peak is the closest peak to my house, edging out Joshua Mtn (9.4 miles) and Mt Mel (9.6 miles). Since all of my rock climbing buddies are busy tomorrow for our weekly Wednesday afternoon climbing, I guess I will knock out Mt Mel after work...
