Ascent Trip Report

Photos at the link below:

Mike Miller and I took a helicopter to the base of Minor Peak and climbed up the ESE glaciated slopes to the summit pyramid. We gained the south side of this up a very sketchy slab riddled with small loose blocks of granite. Once on the ridge the climbing was very fun with a short headwall of aid climbing and free climbing. Awesome summit views. We rapped back down the summit pyramid and climbed back down glacier and camped. We hiked out the Mendenhall Glacier and then the west glacier trail to the parking lot and called for a ride home.
