Ascent Trip Report I hired the following hiking guide. Marius O. Once we got to the summit of Holmbuktind we quickly found that too much of the glaciers had melted for an easy approach to Jiehkkesvárri. We did continue on towards Jiehkkesvárri until it because clear there were too many large crevasses to make the summit. We then decided to head back. This hike needs to be planned for end of June early July to ensure enough snow on top of the glaciers for a good assent of Jiehkkesvárri.
