Ascent Trip ReportFrom SE, highway 9, logging roads, thanks to Dustin for GPS track. Left bike where road ends at 2900ft, continues as trail and soon resumes as road but stony, levels off and ends 50m SE of summit, with loop trail giving easy access to highpoint, which has a viewpoint nearby with chair tied to a tree! In clould, no view today but no rain either. Returned to bike for easy descent.
Locked barrier at highway, sign says MTBs not allowed off road, suits me! No logging (Wednesday mid pm), only vehicle seen was a pickup down towards barrier, also saw 3 guys sitting by road partway up.
