Ascent Trip ReportEverything on Lake Henry road is posted. There is a name on the signs, so it might be a good call to ask permission if you come from that side. I parked at the old quarry. It is on Panther road, just past the intersection of Lake Henry. I hiked around the quarry and bushwacked up toward the Northwest. There were some game trails and soon you will find a stone wall, which must have been the border of an old house, long gone. Cross the field where the house presumably stood and then keep heading uphill. It was all brambles and the high point was a briar patch. Not fun. Didn't see a single sign anywhere on this side, so best of luck! |
