Ascent Trip ReportTook some basic students up, went up the south ridge due to steep and mushy snow with bad runout on the face. Couple cairns along the way and you can spot where others have traveled, plus had gps tracks going up the ridge. Students seemed to think we were soloing 5th class off route, lol. Still, its a serious ridge, class 3+, could be pushing 4th in a couple spots. Students we took up kicked ass for doing this as a 2-day trip and camping at the base of Clark (6000ft gain/13 miles to camp). |
