We climbed this easy hill in the dark, after our Piz Lagrev ascent. There are two trail heads: a car park at xxx (follow signs for Sommet) or it is possible to get a little closer by starting at the chalets further up the road (follow the unpaved road). We went up from the car park, down to the chalets then walked down the road - all very easy, even in the dark.
The natural high point has a trig point (stone block with top surface inscribed with an X).There is a radar station next to the trig. There was a young french couple up there so there is apparently public access at all times although we didn't investigate. There is also a tall monument, passed a little way below the summit.
Note: the satnav tried to direct us via a forest track with no vehicular access. To avoid this, we navigated via the village of xxx.
The following day our Alpine trip ended with the equally non alpine Feldberg.
