Ascent Trip ReportI parked off Georges Branch Rd right near the gas line that’ll take you right near the summit. Unfortunately parking is sketchy, was worried about my car getting towed which inspired me to hike fast! More bad news the land has been cleared all around this area for houses to be built all around a gas line which is crazy to me. I reached a gate with the only posted sign I’d see for the day. Another gate shortly past the first and then just start climbing. Very steep but smooth. Last .25 miles or so tons of briars. Legs are cut even though I was wearing pants. Arms are even worse. When you get to the top of the gas line go past the gate which has been knocked down. Hang a right, clear trail to the top. This route won’t be around long unless new home owners take pity on you.
