Ascent Trip Report

Step out of the gondola lift at 47.467638, 13.626055. Every time I come here, the lift is becoming more and more expensive. A return ticket this time cost 43 EUR. It also costs another 20 EUR to get to the lift by car, but it's free if the lift is used. In short, it is costly. I hired a guide to help me safely reach the top and go down in winter conditions (Heli was an excellent and very experienced guy). And it was absolutely the correct decision. However, the via ferrata is not very long but is partially covered by snow. It means parts of the climb must be done on the 60-degree snow-covered slopes unprotected. Maybe someone will say it is easy, but not me. From the gondola, it is a light 70m descent. Then a gradual climb up onto the snow-covered slope. Glassier is steeper but not bad. At the top of the glassier via ferrata. Cross at the summit. Excellent, beautiful views of all the surrounding well-known peaks, including ultras. It was a peaceful and nice day. Actually, the day and time were successfully selected due to the good weather window. After a short break, we descended the same route. Back to the lift and to the car. A prominent and memorable summit!

2h00 up, 1h45 down, 3h45 roundtrip (only descent GPS trail, forgot to switch tracker, same route both ways)
