Ascent Trip Report

Climbed with two guys from Chicago who were close friends. Marguerite from Nogales stayed close to base camp. They starting taking direct route up talus slope towards saddle and chickened out before reaching the main ridge. I summited alone and ran into two guys we knew from the NAU Hiking Club who'd climbed it from a different approach (in Navajo Basin). Some exposure near the top, but not too bad. Good views of El Diente and Mt. Wilson. Made it back down to miner's cabin and met my friends and walked back in snow storm to meet Marguerite and get our packs. Walked out in snow storm and didn't reach car until after dark passing hunter's tent. Had to wait for Marguerite since she was out of shape and couldn't move fast.
