Ascent Trip ReportI parked at the border crossing at 41.808333, -8.130444. Unfortunately, parking at the trailhead is restricted. I walked an extra half kilometer and descended fifty meters or so. A gradual, good trail goes 6-7 kilometres along the stream. After another kilometer, there are a few abandoned houses. I guess they are related to the small artificial lake with a dam. Or maybe ex-military buildings. I crossed the dam, and from here the trail became less obvious. However, from time to time, it is marked with a cairn. The summit is already visible, but still 1-2 km away. Approximately 100m of descent. The last metres to the summit are an easy scramble, with a few exposed steps, but it could be that I lost a trail. Some kind of trail is in the wide gully between two solid stone walls. From the top, I can see nice solid rocks and nice views in all directions. A few minutes later, I went down the same trail. Nice longish hike, nice views all day. A memorable hike.
2h50 up, 2h40 down, 5h30 roundtrip.
