Ascent Trip ReportWe didn't actually do any hiking on this one. As we were driving towards the "trailhead" we encountered the beginnings of a flash flood right on the dirt road that we had to drive up. We backed up to higher ground and watched the water get higher and higher for about 10 minutes. We finally gave up - flash floods can be dangerous. We turned around and headed back. The mountain will be there some other day when the weather is nicer. I also think that we ended up on the wrong road. |
