Ascent Trip ReportWhat should have been an easy ascent became difficult after I lost the path in the snow. I ended up too far West and couldn't find a route through the prominent rock band a few hundred m below the summit. After going down several blind alleys, I eventually found a way up after some dicey scrambling, and reached the easier snow slopes to the summit. The snow was very deep and soft, but otherwise OK. Summit marked by an enormous cross and an orientation tablet. For the descent, I followed other tracks in the snow and found the much easier normal route through the rock band (just a path, no scrambling)
