Ascent Trip ReportStarted at the bus stop stop at Plage de Bourget, then followed the edge of the lake north before climbing up to Col du Chat. A trail leads over the ridge, via the Dent du Chat. This is cable protected in some sections but should not be a problem for an experienced hiker. I bypassed the Dent du Chat itself, which is climbed via a cabled protected sramble with some ladders. After reaching the summit I descended East, partly down the road (closed, snowed over), and partly down trails to le Bourget du Lac. |
