Ascent Trip Reportteamed up with an Austrian mountain guide who I then happened to have to walk down 200 meters in the middle of the night due to altitude sickness. continued solo the next day, sleeping above 5000m in an old local sleeping bag. next day rented crampons broke even before first use. had received misleading route advice by a Spanish-German couple, thus chose wrong summit route upwards from the wall and got stuck. alone on the mountain. on the way down found a depot of provisions by a group of climbers who had needed an evacuation. |
