Ascent Trip ReportParked at the Yankee Hat trailhead. Avoided the closed rock art trail/site. After the recent rains, had to cross full creeks and swamps in both directions. The climb up and down was typically challenging for a Namadgi peak: rocks, boulders, fallen trees, charred limbs, waist-high scrub. And face-high spider webs - lots of em. Also very snakey, but no serpents seen. Ripper 360 views on top of the top boulder. Came down a less direct way SW to rejoin Old Boboyan Road. Another Percy bagged. |
