Ascent Trip ReportExpected this to be an easy peak but summit block of Tri Peaks is extremely spicy and chossy. Peakbagger does not show true summit, climbed true summit. Difficult exposed class 3/4, would definitely have used rope and protection if I had had it on me. Without it climb was extremely sketchy, great foot and hand holds but poor rock quality. Felt uncomfortable standing on summit but touched top with hand. On down climb at point of max exposure main hand hold I was using broke off! Luckily I was able to catch myself on a different hold, otherwise I'd be in the hospital right now. Very grateful I've been honing up on my rock climbing skills. Be very careful on this one, happy bagging!
