Ascent Trip ReportDrove in from S, Eagle Eye Rd, RAV4 AWD struggled on a few steep sections, took over an hour. Parking area at 1260m, walked the remaining road, not obviously worse than what I'd already driven, no obstructing rock and a newish concrete section. Highest outcrop has a trig reference mark, the trig/BM itself apparently gone. Lovely cool sunny morning. I obediently refrained from swimming or fishing :-) 45mins up, 1h20 round trip. 1hr drive out to Eagle Eye Rd. Met some 4x4 folk, said they'd never seen a car or SUV in there. Probably a good reason for that!
