Ascent Trip ReportA climb with the Santiam Alpine Club. We took more people than was prudent up, with fewer axes than we had people, in one of the heaviest snow years the Cascades have seen recently. As a result, we did not summit until 4:30, despite an alpine start, and did not return to the trailhead until well after midnight.
