Ascent Trip Report

Antimony/Eagle Rest info/suggestions:
- The dirt road to the Antimony TH currently can be driven by a low clearance sedan with some care. The first 1.5 miles is the worst of it.
- Hike during cooler temps. It gets hot back there.
- Wear gaitors. The cross country trek to Eagle Rest has fox tail everywhere that will otherwise constantly spike thru your socks and shoes, at least this time of year.

Spent the night at the TH to get a quick start on the difficult Antimony and Eagle Rest peaks. Only got about 3.5 hrs sleep after bagging Liebre Mtn last night, but glad I left early as the cooler temps didn't last long. Eagle Rest emobies all the elements of a difficult peak - most all of the terrain is steep, cross country, remote, difficult nav, brushy, some class 3 and potentially hot.
