Ascent Trip ReportWith the coming rainstorm I thought it would be a good idea to do one of our morning explorations before I have to go to work. Maria and I left at around 6 to head over. It gets light pretty late right now so I picked a park where there wasn't much hiking. We came and walked around the paths and up on the manmade hill with some trees that is undoubtedly the highpoint of this part of the park. The Albany Bulb is much more interesting and you could spend a couple hours exploring that part of the sanctuary. Here 20 minutes was enough then off to find breakfast somewhere. Unfortunately Fat Apples didn't let you eat there so we go to-go and went home. |
