Ascent Trip ReportA short blue trail westbound hike from summit parking ..... 200 yards, 15 minutes RT.
The Castle Craig Tower, a round stone structure with a turret top, is located right on the top of the rocky cliff, offering an outstanding panorama. The Highpoint is west of the Tower on edge of the cliff.
From the top end of the summit parking at the northwest corner (right) a blue blazed trail heads west along the rough/rocky cliff edge to the Highpoint. I chose my spot at 41.55702, 7283701. The PB coordinates puts the spot in a lower elevation.
As is the case with the West Peak, make sure you pick a clear day.
For the Driving Directions to the summit parking see my Hanging Hills (West Peak) TR.
