Ascent Trip ReportDel Venturi road is closed (gated and locked) at both river crossings, due to recent storms. Do not use Nac-Ferg road as a bypass; it will get you past the first gate but not the second. Instead, go north past Mission San Antonio de Padua to the Milpitas Road.
Trail is easy at the start, and again on the upper portion, starting with the treeless switchbacks. In between, the trail is faint, buggy, and easily lost - with short, passable bushwhacking typically available to return you to the trail. |
