Ascent Trip ReportVia the excellent Canchal del Turmal ridge (which involves a little YDS2/3 scrambling) and El Toorreon. Circular route from El Chorro where there is parking next to the HEP station. Returned via Canchal de la Caja and the more or less pathless Trampal valley. A fine day out - we started late and consequently returned in the dark. I thought the rock 10m S of the one with the cairn was slightly higher (Abney both ways). Great granite scenery. |
