Ascent Trip ReportTrue peak is the isolated 'spire' east of the Tolmie Peak ridgeline. Accessible by hiking to Tolmie Peak proper and then continuing the ridgeline East South-East. Requires a ~40 decent on loose dirty rock to a small knife-edge saddle. High exposure on the short decent, a slip here would end extremely poorly for the climber. The knife-edge saddle itself and subsequent scramble back up the other side are surprisingly clean and sheltered from any 'real' exposure. The cliffs here, and the peak itself, are rather shear so the 'perceived' exposure is pretty extreme, those with vertigo may want to pass on this one.
