Ascent Trip ReportFrom NW, Les Montes d'Olme, large skiers car park, trail from SE corner crosses ski piste, good track to water supply intake then paint marked path beyond, at signpost I fork L for Pic de St Barthélémy, minor descent involved, then up to col and via W ridge; cairn at summit, intermittent views the best of the trip so far! Down E ridge and up Soularac W ridge, minimal marking, a few choices, easy scrambles, some avoidable.
Soularac's 3m summit block a tricky scramble, small finger holds, a fall would be short but serious, ok solo but a companion to spot footholds would help. Returned W, back over Barthélémy then Pic de Girabal (a little easy scrambling) then path N from its W col rejoins outward route at aforementioned signed fork. Lower slopes in mist. 2h30 up, 5h10 round trip.
