Ascent Trip ReportIf not strong winds, it would be a "moderate" as per book. But the wind (forecast was for gusts up to 100kmh in town) was so strong, that it had knocked us many times. Two of us had to crawl on all four the last ~50m in order to keep attached to the mountain and not be blown away. My GPS barometer-based altimeter added about 1,000m extra elevation because of the gust created pressure fluctuations. On descend the clouds moved in and it started showering but by then we already dropped below tree line. |
