Ascent Trip ReportDid this one with my son, Aidan, from the backcountry board right at the entrance to the park. We headed up the wash, following the Warren Point signs all the way to the summit. It was in the 80s, so the hiking season in J-Tree is coming to an end it seems.... We actually had a guy catch up to us about a hundred meters before the summit, so we were not the only party on the mountain like we usually are. He took a pic of us on the summit with San Gorgonio behind us. Great views of both San Gorgonio and San Jacinto. We took the north ridge use trail to the main Black Rock Canyon Trail to head back to the car - much quicker. Overall, a great hike as always. This time we climbed the correct peak by the way....
