Ascent Trip ReportGreat afternoon hike with Aidan before taking him home. Temps in the upper 50s, unusually cool for mid-May. Very pleasant. Giant pile of rocks on the summit for some reason... One of the rare J-Tree hikes where I have encountered many people. Fantastic views from the top: San Jacinto and San Gorgonio poking through the clouds, crystal clear skies to the east where Sheephole, Pinto, the Coxcombs, etc were visible. Pictures |
