Ascent Trip ReportKelley and I followed Dean Gaudet's 08-30-2019 GPX of the drive from the junction of Trout Creek Road and Pleasant Valley Road, which is west of the peak near the small town of Jordan Valley and U.S. Highway 95, up to the summit (thanks Dean for posting it!!). Starting at Silver City, which is about 8.7 miles from the summit, the road requires a high clearance vehicle to drive and is mostly narrow with very few turn-outs, and starting about 3.7 miles from the top the road requires a high clearance 4x to drive. |
