Ascent Trip ReportFrom NE, Latschenöl Brennerei, above St Ulrich am Pillersee, parking 200m before end of road (paved parking is for buses only). Easiest route is L immediately above parking, signed Lindtalalm and Winterstelleralm, footbridge then mapped track and paths to summit. I ascended W via Kalktal (a few easy cabled sections) and Gerstbergalm, 2h05 up, 3h45 round trip with descent via Lindtalalm.
Summit has a viewfinder (partly illegible) and a slightly lower cross. Highpoint is boulder in front of bench. Cairned summit 100m WNW is 1m lower (hand-level). Fine view of Grosser Ochsenhorn and Wilder Kaiser; also Großglockner and other high snow peaks to S.
