Ascent Trip Report

***Sierra Club Outing***

Mars, Kathy, Chris, Lilly, and I led this Sierra Club hike. This was my first non-provisional lead hike. Trail follows PCT North from SR-74 and then leaves PCT to climb steeply up northern ridges to summit. Snowy weather the previous few days left all the vegetation on the summit and upper 300 - 400' "glazed" with ice - utterly beautiful conditions. No snow on trail. This was George White's 25th Peak. Exit via southern ridge to dirt road to SR-74.
