Ascent Trip ReportI have nothing to add to previous trip reports about how to find this spot, but suggest people might notice the old meeting hall on the left (built in 1839) on rt. 56 just before you get back on the interstate (e.g. between US 40 and I-70) and the signs for the old National Pike (the original US 40)--one of the first major construction projects carried out by the US government in the early 1800s. |
